How do I create a UVACanvas Connect account if I don’t have a UVA account?

This article provides details for how learners who do not have a UVA account can create an account. This action is required when enrolling in a UVACanvas Connect course for the first time.

Select a course to enroll in and click Enroll.

If you are enrolling in a UVACanvas Connect course for the first time and do not have an assigned UVA email address, you will be prompted to register a new account.  

1. If you do not have a UVA account and email, complete account registration. Follow the steps in the help article How do I complete my registration for a catalog course or program? (opens new window) to complete your registration.

2. If you do have a UVA account and email, select Already have an account? Sign in here to log in with your Netbadge credentials by selecting Netbadge Login>>.

If you do not have UVA credentials but are a returning user, you may log in using a previously registered email and password by selecting Other Login>>.
