Navigate to a migrated Blackboard site.

Sites that were copied for you from Blackboard to Canvas can be found on your Canvas Dashboard or in your Courses menu.

Tip: You can use the information in this article as you work through Step 1: Review in the Checklist for Reusing Content from Blackboard. Go back to the checklist for additional steps.

Find a migrated site on your Dashboard.

Sites that were copied from Blackboard display as cards on your Dashboard with the following characteristics:

  1. All migrated sites will be grouped under the heading Unpublished Courses.
  2. On the card for a migrated site, its title is preceded with BLACKBOARD and a dash, for example BLACKBOARD - 22F_COMM_4263_GCOM_7263.
  3. Under the site's title is the course ID from the original site in Blackboard, for example, 22F_COMM_4263_GCOM_7263.
  4. In smaller print under the site ID is the term categorizing the site, Migrations.

You can access the site by selecting its name, e.g., BLACKBOARD - 22F_COMM_4263_GCOM_7263.

Tip: Your Dashboard will display up to 20 sites automatically, which may make it difficult to find the site you need if you have more than 20. In order to ensure that your preferred sites display, customize your dashboard by using the Favorites option. If you choose over 20 favorites, the Dashboard will randomly display 20 of them.
