How do I log into the Poll Everywhere app as a student?
All students have access to Poll Everywhere using their [email protected] email address. Follow the steps in this article to log in and ensure you can respond to polls in your courses using the Poll Everywhere app on your mobile device.
Tip: If you prefer not to install the app, you can respond to polls using a mobile browser. Steps for using a browser to log in can be found at How do I log into Poll Everywhere as a student? (opens new window).
Download the app.
Download the Poll Everywhere app for iOS or Android. Once downloaded, you will be able to sign in and use the app by following the steps below. The app is available in the Google Play store (opens new window) for Android and the App Store (opens new window) for iOS.
Open Poll Everywhere and select Login.
Open Poll Everywhere on your mobile device, then:
- Select Login.
- Select Launch log-in window.
Enter your UVA email address, then select Next.
- In the Email or username field, enter your [email protected] address, e.g., [email protected]
- Select Next.
Select Log in with UVA NetBadge.
A Log in with UVA NetBadge button will appear. Select this button.
Log in using NetBadge.
You will be redirected to the NetBadge login page. Either:
- Use your Digital Certificate to log in by selecting the corresponding Log In button,
- Or enter your UVA computing ID and Password and Log In.
Authorize account access.
To authorize access:
- Review the account in the Sign in as field.
- Select Authorize.
Select Done.
The next screen will display Access granted. To close the window, select Done in the upper left-hand corner.
Join the presentation.
You will be redirected to the Home tab. To join the presentation:
- Enter the text from the PollEv.com/ username provided by your instructor into the text box, for example PollEv.com/ProfX
- Select Join.
