How do I moderate files students have added to Media Gallery?

By default, files added to Media Gallery by students are moderated. This means that an instructor must approve each media file before it is published for the rest of the class to access.

For instructors who prefer to have students' files available to everyone in the course immediately, the Moderate content setting can be disabled in a course's Media Gallery. Skip to the steps to disable the Moderate content setting.

Select the Pending tab.

Note: The Media tab will update to display with the number of files currently included in it, for example, 2 Media. If there are no student files that need to be reviewed, the Pending tab will not be visible.

To have students' files available to everyone in the course immediately, the Moderate content setting can be disabled in a course's Media Gallery.

Note: Disabling the setting to Moderate content will not automatically approve or reject pending media files. Follow the steps above to approve or reject files in the Pending tab before changing the Moderate content setting.
